Red Tail Landing Golf Club

RedTail Landing Golf Club, located conveniently at the entrance to the Edmonton International Airport, opened in June 2003 and has been voted one of the top 100 golf courses in Canada by Score Golf. It has hosted a number of events including the 2003, 2004 and 2005 Alberta Open Golf championship, 2005 BMO Canadian Women’s Tour, the 2005 World Masters Games, APGA Alberta Assistant’s Championship, 2005 World Deaf Championship and is the Host Venue in Edmonton for the Links for Women by Score Golf.

The golf course has been chiseled out of 234 acres into a links style course that caters to every skill level, with five sets of tees that range from 5500 yards all the way up to the very challenging 7330 yards. The many sand and grass bunkers and water hazards provide every golfer a different experience and challenge. Each hole has its own character that allows golfers to remember every shot and use every club in their bag.

You will also find one of the best Learning Facilities in Western Canada at RedTail Landing GC. Its unique 19 acre, double-ended driving range allows both private and group lessons to continue while the public has access to practice on grass at the same time. The facility includes 4 practice bunkers, 3 chipping greens and 2 putting greens so that every golfer has the room to focus on their own game. It is really one of the best additions to the golf course.

If you’re bringing the family you will want to check out the Putting Course. All you need is your putter, and everyone is guaranteed a great time. Even better is to spend time on the putting course improving your short game and lowering your score. This is also where kids can enjoy learning the game of golf that you have such a passion for.

RedTail Landing GC has earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence and that is just what the designers wanted. Puddicombe Golf, Design and Construction have also earned a global reputation of building or renovating outstanding golf courses. They have touched the golf industry in most parts of Western Canada, New Zealand, Japan, and the United States. This was their first time venturing into the ownership side of the golf business, as it has always been their family dream to build and own a golf course close to home. The condition and amenities of RedTail Landing GC prove just how proud they are about this must see, homegrown golf venue.
